DESCRIPTION: Invicta, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, man's quarter repeating pocket watch with chronograph, 18 jewels, stem wind and lever set gilt plate movement with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance in a 14 karat, rose gold, plain polished, hunting case, the gold cuvette engraved with various awards won at the Bordeaux and Paris expositions, and with inner glazed cuvette, Arabic numeral, single sunk, white enamel dial, gilt Louis XV hands, 60mm, 131.9g TW, c1900.
CONDITION: CASE: Minor dents; Scratches on outer surface of case; Fine scratches on cuvette; Plastic crystal; Crystal absent on glazed cuvette; Crown worn; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Excellent . HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches; Spotting; A few minor specks of oxide; Some screws with marred slots; Chronograph wheel jewel shattered; Very dirty. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), low amplitude, needs service. COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Repeater functions properly; Chronograph will start, stop and return, but should not be used until jewel has been replaced.
